Angelique Coffee came to REASON8 to create a brand new eCommerce website for their brand of coffee and coffee machines.
With an existing restaurant, they wanted to extend the Angelique brand further by offering premium artisan coffees and high quality coffee machines to customers across the UK.

Building the concept.
With an existing brand, Angelique required a classy, easy-to-use eCommerce site that extended the Angelique brand in the best way possible.
The Angelique team had a clear vision of what they wanted their website to look like – they just needed that creative spark to bring it to life, and then some.
With artisan coffees available from across the World, Angelique’s mission was to make this as accessible as possible to customers who wanted a taste of Southern American coffee at home.
They also required both delivery and click + collect options available for customers local to them in Stevenage.
Not only did we use a clean, premium-feeling colour palette, but we also matched Angelique’s existing branding through the implementation of Adobe Typekit.
Their website is easy to navigate and includes brand-building pages such as ‘About Us’ and ‘Our Roastery’, so customers can learn more about the history of the company and how their coffee is delivered from plant to coffee machine.
One of Angelique’s main aims was to have the website ranking highly for organic searches. Though a new website, they understood that SEO takes time to build, but we optimised the website as best as possible to get the website ranking for terms such as ‘artisan coffee’ and ‘premium coffee’.
Finally, the website was optimised fully for mobile, tablet and speed, achieving a loading time of less than 2 seconds.
The website’s performance has increased month-by-month since it was launched. The company has sold more coffee and rented out more coffee machines than before they had the website available as a tool to promote such products and services.
With a full optimisation of the website, the website also gains traffic through search engines, with an average of 23% of monthly traffic coming from search engines.
I told Tom exactly what I was looking for as a combination of two competitor websites I really liked and it was like he was in my head designing our website.
Hit all the spots, gave the website new life and something that my customers are finding easy to navigate and a joy to look at!
