LS Network reached out to Reason8 to revamp their recruitment website, to make the addition and application of jobs much easier, and to improve it’s design and informational layout.

Building the concept.

Logistics Support Network reached out to Reason8 to build a brand new website for their logistics recruitment company.

Their previous website was a very basic theme that had their logo on it. The LS Network team informed us that it was not easy to use for both themselves, candidates and clients. It didn’t represent their business and because of this, they didn’t particularly care about their online presence.

After supporting LS Network previously with some online work, they commissioned us to completely rebuild their website. They were open and trusted us to put together a fantastic website for them, that was both beautiful and functional.

Their main hurdle to overcome was that the backend of their previous website was too clunky, with far too much going on. It wasn’t simple enough to add jobs and they couldn’t customise it to their requirements.

We knew that as well as a great design, arguably the #1 factor to consider in this website build was the backend functionality. We wanted to create an all encompassing experience for the team and to actually make it fun and rewarding for adding jobs to their own website.

People can now register for an account with daily job alerts, and apply directly on the website with their saved information. No more consistently uploading their CVs or re-entering their information – each candidate now has a dedicated user area where they can add all the information once and use this for their applications.

LS Network previously had basic content on their website. We paired this with over 1,000 words of keyword-rich content, based on competitor research for the website to really make their services sell to both clients and candidates.

We also identified a huge opportunity to make this website search-engine friendly. HGV jobs are typically searched anywhere between 15,000 – 20,000 times per month, so setting up the website for long-term SEO success (through on-page SEO and site optimisation) hopefully means that, over time, the website will start to grow and tap in to this niche.

The site is fully optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile. The website is built for two primary reasons:

1. To get candidates to register for an account and start applying for jobs, or they can simply send their CV via a form;
2.To attract clients who want to work with LS Network to improve their logistics and transport recruitment.


LS Network now have a beautiful, fully-functioning website that does all the heavy lifting for them. No longer do they need to spend hours trying to work out how to use their website (we provided them with tutorial videos!), but candidates can follow a simple signup process and then start to apply for their chosen jobs within minutes. They can also filter to find their perfect job: everything from location, pay and job title (and more). This now means that LS Network can focus on their day-to-day running of the company, whether this be speaking with candidates as part of their screening process, or trying to attract new clients. They’ve now got a brand new channel where they can start to attract both to their business, without any extra work!
