Reason8 is a web design studio in Hinckley, working with businesses across the UK.
We’ve been doing this since 2021, and most of the clients we started with are still with us.
HOW WE GOT HERE
Started because too many websites were being built badly.
Reason8 was set up in 2021.
The idea was straightforward: build websites properly, for a fair price, and still be around to look after them afterwards.
That’s harder than it sounds, and it’s the reason most agencies churn through clients.
Since then we’ve built for solicitors, financial firms, estate agents, manufacturers, gyms, wine investors and a search and rescue charity. [X] sites, 107 five-star reviews, and clients who’ve been with us since the first year.
HOW WE WORK
Four things we're stubborn about.
We scope each build around what your business actually needs, then quote it as one fixed price. What moves the number is straightforward:
Design before development
You see your site designed at full size before a line of code is written. Changing a design takes minutes; changing a built site takes days and costs money.
The same person, start to finish
The person who takes your first call designs your site, builds it, and picks up the phone two years later. No account managers, no handovers, nothing lost in the middle.
Fixed prices, fixed scope
You’ll know the number before we start and it won’t move. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, no scope creep dressed up as a change request.
You own everything
Hosting, domain, files, analytics – all in your name from day one. If you ever want to leave, we hand it over cleanly. Nobody should be held hostage by their web agency.

Tom Clarke - Managing Director.
I've been 10+ years in design and web, and I run Reason8. I'll be on your first call, I'll design your site, and I'm the person you'll email when something needs changing in two years. Outside the studio, I'm usually at the gym, watching football, or trying to find the best coffee in Leicestershire.
Rachel Clarke - Operations Director.
I run the studio's operations and looks after every client through the project lifecycle. I am your point of contact for scheduling, communications, invoicing, and anything in between. I'm also the reason your project ships on time. Outside the studio, I am a mum, wife and also looking for the best coffee in Leicestershire.
That’s deliberately it. We stay small so the person you meet is the person who does the work — and so we can still answer the phone in three years’ time.

We’re based in Hinckley, in a converted Victorian hosiery factory that’s now home to a few dozen small businesses.
Most of our work is remote and our clients are spread across the UK – but if you’re within reach and would rather meet properly, that’s easy to arrange.
